Isolation

Dear Ones,

I would like to know how one can go about teaching others about Our Lord and starting a small meeting for worship?

Any advice dear friends?

Love in the Light of Christ,

Persecution

Dear Friends,

The Scriptures of Truth testify that those that live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.  What do you think about this passage of Scripture?

I have been meditating on it and I believe it has to do with the false Christ of the world and the saturation of earthly culture which is very seductive to our eyes.  The falsehood and the veneer of happiness is a persecutor in a way.

What are your thoughts? How do you maintain…

Experience

Dear Friends,

The Lord is so gracious! By His Spirit He teaches us and leads us into the Way of Life. He deserves all our praise for the Love of the Word in coming to us and teaching us!

Last evening, after reading the Scriptures, I had a moment of silent worship waiting on the Lord. During this time I saw in my mind a donkey with a man on it, and then the image changed to a white horse with a warrior on it. I take it to be Christ. Christ came the first time…

Hello Bradley, I just noticed your comment to Allistair. I don't want to horn in on your conversation, but it prompted me to go to your page to see who you are and where you are from. I am glad to see you here and hope to have the chance of becoming better acquainted. One of the things we do here in the States, is a monthly telephone conference call wherein we read and discuss portions of Fox's writings. Right now we are working on the Nine Sermons Book (That Thy Candles May Always Be Burning). If you are interested in participating, we can discuss this further. Regarding "how quiet it is on the site" I must say I will soon have another installment of my blog ready. It takes me a little time to get these done. Ellis

Friend Ellis,

It does me good to hear from you. I would like more information on the book and the conference call. I am isolated out here in NC. Not many Christian Quakers...Most are Non theist or Buddhist.

Anyway, please keep me updated.

Brad
