Persecution
Dear Friends,
The Scriptures of Truth testify that those that live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. What do you think about this passage of Scripture?
I have been meditating on it and I believe it has to do with the false Christ of the world and the saturation of earthly culture which is very seductive to our eyes. The falsehood and the veneer of happiness is a persecutor in a way.

I am an ordained Primitive Baptist minister in North Carolina. I recently began to feel a longing and a desire for holiness and Godly living. In the course of my study of the Holy Scriptures I began to sense that the church I have served in, the church of the 21st century, was not the Church of the Lord Jesus. I am glad to see you here and hope to have the chance of becoming better acquainted.One of the things we do here in the States, is a monthly telephone conference call wherein we read and discuss portions of Fox's writings. Right now we are working on the Nine Sermons Book (That Thy Candles May Always Be Burning). If you are interested in participating, we can discuss this further.
