Came across these pictures 6 years later! I thought the person on the right was Justin Meggit?

The person on the left is me - Trevor Bending. Delighted to find myself on this website after all these years. Also pleased to find a couple of pictures of Michael Langford on the site - we met again a few weeks ago at Woodbrooke where both of us were attending the NFN (that's the Non-theist Friends Network) conference. I still haven't got round to attending the Bunhill Fields meeting. But then I'm in Portugal now and Spain most of the time so even attending my own (BYM) meeting at Brentford and Isleworth is not frequent.

So there you have it, after 6 years - I'm an NFF supporter, an NFN member, a QUG member or just a plain Quaker!

PS. Would be nice to see a Friendly response to the above comment on this what appears to be now a somewhat inactive site. (I'm reading Michael's books on 'A Friendly way of being Christian' and 'Our Christian roots' at present).

@Trevor Bending, it is nice to be able to put some names to faces of the photos that show up on the site. Thank you for making those identifications. May I ask why Portugal and Spain? Not that I have anything against those places, but I was born with a worse case of curiosity than what killed the cat! I am glad of the news regarding Michael Langford. The last time I saw him was at an NFF gathering in Pennsylvania, which would have been I don't know how many years ago. How are you liking his books mentioned in your PS above?

Oh, I’ve found it now.
Always enjoy Michael’s contribution and guess I’m roughly in his position by a different route. (That’s to say he more or less ‘speaks to my condition’).
I and my wife live in Spain most of the time and often travel via or visit Portugal. As a result we don’t often get to a Meeting - nearest is Barcelona 500 miles away. So we just worship together on Sunday mornings.
