The development from a spiritual explosion to a more steady community life marks the early history of both Christians and Quakers. As we consider the first decades of both groups, we will see how a radical corporate spiritual experience can have a dramatic and disturbing impact. Conflict plays a part in forcing both groups to create a more settled community, able to survive into the future. This is a chance to consider in depth the relationship between inspiration and institution.
Tutors: Stuart Masters and Timothy Peat Ashworth
The NFF exists to preach the Christian Message that was proclaimed by the Early Friends. Christ has come to teach his People himself
