Reproclaiming the Everlasting Gospel
I work in a book and tea shop so I try to keep track of new books coming out. I see that Cambridge University Press is issuing two new books on George Fox; I believe they are scheduled for later this year, at least in the U.S. They are:
The Short Journals and Itinerary Journals of George Fox
Norman Penny, Editor
The Journal of George Fox: 2 Part Set (Revised Edition)
John Nickalls, editor
Listed as $60.00 in the U.S.
I am unfamiliar with the first item. At Amazon they have a good writ-up; evidently these are three short journals from various periods in Fox's life which he dictated to different companions.
I am curious about the second item. It is listed at over 800 pages, much longer than the one volume Journals I am familiar with. But the editor is the same as the one volume edition I own. Does anyone know what "revised" refers to here? Is this a more complete edition?
P.S. There are frequently differences between British and American releases so that ISBN I've noted may not be the British ISBN.
