Reproclaiming the Everlasting Gospel
When we listen to this world--man's voice--we are out of the power. Jesus, the Gospel, is the power; the strong right hand of God.
Tailoring Quaker religion to the culture (world) is to alter it--change it, make it different. So, it is no longer that which you inherited; it's not an inheritance at all; it's a bill of goods (fraud).
Quakers (churches everywhere) are conforming to the world.
They want to create their own religion and their own god to go with it; a god that supports and affirms their religion. This is a way of the world.
But we must surrender to the living God, to the one and only God. We must conform to Him and His ways. Thus, we have Jesus Christ. Receive Him in your heart and you will come to know Him in you; who is come to teach His people himself; so then you will know, you will conform to His ways. He will shepherd you, teach you, censure you, raise you up.
We are given a choice: accept Jesus and the one who sent Him or not accept. If we don't accept, we condemn ourselves. When we do accept Him, we must determine to keep to him. He will preserve our ability to keep to him against all the powers set to destroy our determination. But we must be determined in ourselves and "fight the good fight of faith" 1 Tim 6:12.
"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Josh 24:15
As for me, I will serve the Lord.
